Huddy was nominated as assistant coach by Stars

Dallas Stars General Manager Joe Nieuwendyk announced that Charlie Huddy was named as assistant coach by the club on August,4. Compared to the Edmonton Oilers's coaching groupe, Huddy served as an assistant for the New York Rangers from 1998 to 2000. In 1996, he was a player and assistant coach with AHL' team Rochester Americans.

Huddy recently served as an assistant coach with Oilers from 2000 to 2009, helping the team build a new record during that time. The record includes the 2006 Stanley Cup Final game, in which the Oilers lost to Carolina in seven games.
