On the ice with these players was Islanders Head Coach Scott Gordon, Assistant Coach Dean Chynoweth,and Islanders Executive Director of Player Development Bryan Trottier. There are five television cameras recording No. 1 draft pick John Tavares skating on the ice.And this is the first time to see him wearing an islanders jersey.
"This is an exciting time for all of the prospects," Trottier said just before taking the ice. "It's their first impression of Long Island and our first impression to see them skate as a group. It's a great time for our entire organization."
