The Las Vegas Sun reported late Friday night that An arrest warrant is out for right-hander Shawn Chacon after he failed to pay $150,000 in gambling markers to the Las Vegas hotel CaesarsPalace. He pitched eight seasons in the Major Leagues, with his first several years coming with the Rockies. The right-hander has played for four different teams and was an All-Star player in 2003.
Chacon last pitched in the big leagues for the Astros in 2008, before being released last June 26. He spent the whole 2009 season pitching for the Athletics' affiliate, the Sacramento River Cats.
