Blackhawks reassign Skille to AHL's Rockford

The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned right wing Jack Skille to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs. Skille was held scoreless on Saturday in the Blackhawks’ win over the Colorado Avalanche during his debut with the club. Skille was the seventh overall pick in the 2005 National Hockey League Entry Draft, and he registered one goal in three North American preseason games with Chicago before being held scoreless in the team’s two contests in Zurich, Switzerland. He has appeared in 25 games with the Blackhawks over the last three seasons, collecting six points.

The Blackhawks host the Calgary Flames at the United Center on Monday at 7:00 P.M. The game can be seen locally on VERSUS and heard on Chicago’s WGN Radio.
