Solar activity may interrupt TBS' coverage of NLDS

The network announced that solar activity could cause brief disruptions during TBS's coverage of the National League Division Series featuring the Philadelphia Phillies and Colorado Rockies on Thursday. The position of the sun can interfere with any TV satellite operations during a span of a few days in spring and fall. On Thursday, there will be a period of potential disruption lasting from about 4:10 p.m. to 5:10 p.m.

Viewers throughout the country may experience disruptions on TBS, along with other networks. The locations of potential interference will be different, and any disruptions are expected to last only several minutes.
